Having lived and worked in France for almost 20 years, I wanted to make my experience and intimate knowledge of French life useful to others.
Over the years I have helped many English speaking people through a very wide range of situations. Everything from buying a property here in France to becoming a full French resident, and all that goes on in between (paying taxes, getting married and divorced, finding top up health care, translating wills, getting mortgages, dealing with insurance problems, etc.).
I was born in the Midlands, took a year off to au-pair and perfect my French in Fontainebleau, then studied law at Kent Law School, Canterbury University (LLb Hons).
I worked for over 7 years for the Groupement Notarial du Carcassonnais, where I carried out property transactions and valuations for 11 notaires for both a French and International client base.
I have been a successful freelance consultant for almost 4 years, with a wide international clientele that keeps going from strength to strength. I also lecture at Perpignan University’s Faculty of Legal and Economical Sciences, as well as at the Ecole Supérieure de l’Immobilier in Paris.
It’s so easy for me to share my insider knowledge and help you through what can be a long and perilous journey when you don’t understand the system and/or the language.
Let me take the weight off your shoulders and do the worrying, as well as the endless phoning and form filling-in, for you. I promise you the best quality service to guarantee a better quality life here.
